Ashley Wragg

As a European patent attorney, Ashley works with a range of clients from across the world and has gained extensive experience in drafting and prosecution of patent applications in a variety of jurisdictions. Ashley has also assisted in a number of opposition proceedings before the EPO.

Ashley has a diverse scientific background which has resulted in an appreciation of the practical and commercial applications of science. His scope of work ranges from complex chemical subject matter to mechanical devices. Ashley’s interest lies in developing IP strategies which meet clients’ business needs.

After obtaining a first class degree in chemistry from the University of Sheffield, Ashley went on to complete a PhD in bio-inorganic chemistry. His work focused on the synthesis and study of luminescent coordination complexes for use as cellular imaging probes and therapeutic agents. Ashley completed his PhD between the University of Sheffield and the A*STAR institute in Singapore.
