Claire helps clients to protect and enforce their trade marks. Her experience over 15 years means that she can assist clients from initial conceptualisation. She believes that each client is important, whether they are a start- up or an international company with a large IP portfolio.
Claire’s work encompasses a wide variety of industries, with a particular interest in the food, beverage and retail sectors.
Claire’s practice includes pre-filing and strategy advice, filing and prosecution, portfolio management and contentious matters. Claire has considerable experience in trade mark law and practice across the African continent.
Claire obtained BCom (Law) and LLB degrees, both from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She qualified as a South African Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public in 2005 and a South African Trade Mark Practitioner in 2008.
