Dan is a dual-qualified trade mark attorney and solicitor and is experienced in clearing, registering and enforcing trade marks. His experience working in-house at a major retailer means he understands the need for commercially led advice.
Dan has experience acting on behalf of a mix of clients from large multinationals to start-ups and entrepreneurs operating across a broad range of sectors including the technology, FMCG, and leisure sectors.
Dan’s practice includes working with clients to develop brand protection strategies, managing national and international trade mark portfolios, advising on contentious and non-contentious trade mark matters, and online brand enforcement.
Dan joined the trade mark profession in 2013 after completing a Law degree at Nottingham Trent University. He has since qualified as a trade mark attorney and as a Solicitor (England & Wales).
Dan has contributed to various publications, including the CITMA Review and the Intellectual Property Magazine.
