Emily’s experience both in the intellectual property (IP) profession and academia has afforded her to become commercially aware and understand client’s needs.
Emily works with a range of clients in the chemical and medical industry to secure and maintain protection of their IP.
Under the guidance of qualified attorneys, Emily helps assess the patentability of proposed inventions, prosecute patent applications and file oppositions.
Emily graduated with a first class Master of Chemistry degree from Cardiff University. Her research experience includes developing synthetic models of the oxygen evolving metal cluster found in green plants and subsequently developing routes towards them.
As part of her degree Emily undertook an internship at the University of Florida where she conducted research to develop tunable routes towards pseudoguaianolide natural products.
