Jack’s previous experience as a medical physicist means he recognises the need to develop novel inventions in order to aid progression in a particular field. Because of this, he appreciates the importance of protecting intellectual property.
Jack has interests in medical physics, consumer electronics, autonomous vehicles, and green technologies.
As a trainee Jack is working towards his UK and European patent qualifications. He enjoys learning how to draft patents and forming responses to patent examiners. He looks forward to working with clients to support them throughout their patent application process.
Jack gained a first class degree in Physics with Medical Applications BSc, and distinctions in Radiometrics MSc and Clinical Science (Medical Physics) MSc from the University of Liverpool. His recent dissertation examined the dosimetric differences between static electron external beam radiotherapy and Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy in the treatment of skin cancer of the head and neck.
