Mykhailo’s first-rate legal academic achievements, domestic and international entrepreneurial experiences, and languages, make him adept at working with a diverse range of clients and enterprises. In turn helping them to protect and increase the value of their most precious assets, namely the identity of their brands.

His expertise and combined legal and commercial background allow him to work with a wide scope of clients, from the smallest of start-ups to large corporations, within a variety of sectors.

Being a trainee trade mark attorney, Mykhailo works side by side with senior colleagues, and is responsible for a wide range of tasks, ranging from trade mark registrations to building litigation strategies. His scope includes interviewing clients to gain a holistic understanding of the nature of their business, products or services; drafting strategically successful trade mark applications; to objecting to rejections of clients’ applications.

Mykhailo joined Appleyard Lees after obtaining a first class honours LLB Law Degree from Guildhall School of Business and Law (London Metropolitan University) as well as completion of Legal Practice Course and Master of Laws with commendation, from The University of Law (Bloomsbury, London).
